Under the direction of the Manager of Public Works, supervises and coordinates staff to
ensure the ongoing public works programs of the Division are completed.  Performs duties related to the maintenance and construction of City infrastructure.

Qualifications include minimum of Grade 12 diploma or GED equivalent.  An additional vocational program of over three months and up to six months in heavy equipment operation and experience over two years up to and including three years in heavy equipment operation and supervision in a related field. Or Experience over three years up to and including four years in heavy equipment operation and supervision in a related field.   Individual will possess a valid Manitoba Arborist License and a Special Boiler Operator Certificate or Class 4 Power – Engineer Certificate.  


HOURS OF WORK: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, ½ hour for lunch, Monday to Friday
  
SALARY: $24.93 per hour as per CUPE collective agreement.
